Sierra continues to cry, unaware of the approaching dragon. The crossbow bolt that David shot has blinded the dragon's left eye, it's now a dead murky grey with a red trail of blood falling from the eye socket. A vast contrast to its other which is an earthy brown and full of anger.
Despite the dragon's anger, he keeps his calm and sneaks toward Sierra. Being cautious with every step to make sure he makes no sound. For a female Sierra is strong and the male dragon would much rather take her by surprise than risk further injury. The male dragon pauses as he hears sounds coming from Sierra, crying. "Who are you!" I yell, trying to sound as aggressive as possible so hopefully the limb retreats, but it doesn't, instead the owner of the limb speaks.
"That doesn't matter to you, but I finally caught you, that's what really matters human." A deep male voice emits from within the shrubbery before its owner rises up and out of the bushes, his gaze fixated on me showing off a toothy grin. I take a second to look over the dragon, green with a silver neck, underbelly and the underside of his wings that begin to stretch out.

Physically, my wounds have almost completely healed, visually however, still looks pretty bad.
Sierra has spent most of the time hunting and searching for that white wolf I saw. Her hunting has been great, the meat storage has grown steadily with several kills added to it each day. However the wolf hasn't been seen since. I lay there, enjoying th

I awake to the sound of breathing, relieved I crawl out from under Sierra's tongue and sit atop it. It's not that I don't trust her, just that when you’re asleep you’re not in control. I sit there for almost an hour, waiting patiently for Sierra to wake and let me out, constantly stopping myself from waking her. Then it seems that luck is on my side because Sierra yawns. Seeing light for the first time since I woke up but I don't let it distract me. I climb out of Sierra's maw, being soaked in saliva making my landing less than textbook.
I'm still in a lot of pain but feeling better after my rest. I walk outs

Warning for, blood, pain and suffering as well as suspension bridges. Not to be read by people who suffer a heart condition or peanut allergy. All the characters are all mine! No animals were hurt in the making of this. Except two ants and a fly, but they deserved it.
My name is David Paliabro, a skilled marksman born into a noble family, I lived within the castle walls as did most nobles. From a young age I was taught to fight with a blade... But even with an average height I don't have the weight or the strength to pose any threat in a battle. Thankfully to much relief, I showed some expert skills with a crossbow.
